A Superb Afternoon
Dear Bobby, a little note to express our thanks for a superb afternoon at the Crumlin Road Gaol on Thursday. Our guide on the tour was superb; she displayed energy and verve and answered all our queries with proficiency. Our visit concluded with tea/coffee and tray bakes. Again your staff handled the event with consummate ability. Please pass on our thanks.
I went to the Crumlin Gaol with a group of 30 students studying abroad and had a great experience. The tour guide we had, Piaras, was extraordinary! He was very informative and was very willing to answer any questions that we had for him. He was also very theatrical at some points, which kept us very engaged. I would definitely recommend this when visiting Belfast.
Afternoon Bobby, just wanted to say a big thank you for Saturday. The ladies from Annalong PW really enjoyed their tour of the Gaol and our two guides were brilliant!
Engaging & Informative
Took a group of 40 people here today. Brendan was fantastic. Delivered an engaging and informative tour. Spoke clearly and slowly at times so everybody could understand. The content was the perfect amount; dealing with some of the harsh tales whilst being funny, warm and lively at the same time. The group loved the experience. Thanks to all at the “Crum”.
Very Accommodating to International Friends
Hello Bobby. Thank you so much for accommodating our group last week. Our tour guide Harry was excellent and very informative and very accommodating to our overseas staff from Germany and France where he supplied some leaflets in their language. Wishing you and all the staff a very happy Christmas.
Knowledge, Expertise & Humour
Hello Bobby. Although I did not meet you yesterday when I brought my Group from Ballyholme Presbyterian Church, I just want to thank all who were involved. Our Guide Was Tricia and she was excellent. She has a good voice and our large group of elderly folk were able to hear. She also found a wheelchair for one of our ladies. Her knowledge and expertise was obvious and her sense of humour was much appreciated. Thank you for a great visit.
A Very Rewarding Education Experience
Hi; Just a big thank you to all the staff that helped arrange and who gave their input yesterday for the St. Mary’s Leisure & Tourism visit. This was a very rewarding education experience for the pupils and it will surely help them to successfully complete their GCSE coursework. Thank you and we look forward to visiting the gaol in the future.
Kept the Students Informed & Entertained
Hi Bobby – just wanted to thank you and your staff for a fantastic visit to the jail last Wednesday. The students really enjoyed the tour and for many it was the highlight of our 3 day visit to Belfast and Dublin. Please pass on my thanks to Eoghan our guide – just the right balance of information, humour and morbidness(!) to keep the students informed and entertained. We hope to be back in future years!
Hi Bobby, please send on our thanks and appreciation to Charlotte for the tour and to all the catering staff for the excellent service we received last Thursday at the restaurant.
