Disputes arising here from shall be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.

Occasionally within the site you may find other rules or terms relating to specific material which may conflict with or contradict these terms and conditions. These could be rules for competitions, specific download requirements, or prize draws, for example. If there is any conflict then the rules or terms relating to specific material will win out over the more general terms and conditions.
8. Booking Terms & Conditions
The management reserves the right to refuse admission
Once purchased, tickets cannot be transferred, exchanged or refunded.
Ticket holders for Crumlin Road Gaol tickets (including disabled guests and groups and schools) must arrive at Reception no less than 15 minutes prior to their booked time.
Latecomers will not be admitted to the Crumlin Road Gaol except at the absolute discretion of Crumlin Road Gaol. There is a zero tolerance policy on Halloween Bookings.
Crumlin Road Gaol will use its reasonable endeavours to be open and operational during published opening hours but reserves the right to close the Attraction on any given day or part thereof, whether for security or any other reason, without notice. In the event of such closure, any Tickets issued for use only on the day of closure will be exchanged or refunded by Crumlin Road Gaol at the price paid for them but no further compensation will be paid.
In the event of a delay to a tour or performance due to circumstance beyond the control of Crumlin Road Gaol no refund will be given if it can proceed within that remainder of the day scheduled.
Visitors are reminded that from time to time parts of the Attraction may be closed for maintenance or for technical reasons. Tickets will not be refunded and no compensation will be paid in the event of such closures.
Proof of entitlement for certain Ticket types may be required for entry (for example, to qualify for the Student Concession Ticket a valid NUS card or valid Internationally Recognised Student ID should be produced). This also applies to OAP’s and Carers.
Visitors should be aware that there may be school groups or private community / commercial bookings in the attraction during a visit.
Crumlin Road Gaol reserves the right to alter any offers and promotions without notice.
No promotions and special offers are valid on Bank Holidays.
The management reserves the right to remove a customer from the building if their behaviour is considered likely to either cause offence or create a nuisance to other visitors or staff. No refund will be available in this case.
Crumlin Road Gaol reserves the right to alter admission prices and opening times without notice. Visitors are reminded that from time to time parts of the Attraction may be closed for maintenance or for technical reasons. Tickets will not be refunded and no compensation will be paid in the event of such closures.
- The Crumlin Road Gaol Visitor Attraction is suitable for children.
- All children under the age of 5 are admitted free to the attraction.
- Children under the age of 16 should be accompanied at all times by an adult over the age of 18.
- Parents with young children are welcome in Crumlin Road Gaol.
- Buggies may be taken anywhere in the attraction with exception to the tunnel and drop cell area.
- Some visiting exhibitions within our temporary gallery may not be suitable for children and may be excluded from the entry price.
Visitor Health and Safety
Crumlin Road Gaol staff may draw visitor’s attention to certain Health & Safety procedures to which Visitors must adhere to.
Crumlin Road Gaol reserves the right to prosecute any persons found damaging or defacing any part of the Attraction.
Visitors are required to observe the following prohibitions while at the Attraction:
- No smoking
- No pets or animals except for guide dogs and hearing dogs
- No consumption of food or drink inside the attraction (except bottled water) without the express permission of Crumlin Road Gaol.
- No access to any area of the Attraction other than areas designated for access by Visitors
- No use of illegal drugs or consumption of alcohol except in authorised places and in accordance with the Licensing Act 2003
In the interests of safety, Visitors may be asked to submit to a search of their person or belongings and anyone refusing to submit or found to be in possession of materials believed by Crumlin Road Gaol to be dangerous or unsuitable will be denied entry or removed from the Attraction.
Visitors must keep their personal belongings with them at all times and Crumlin Road Gaol accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to any personal belongings brought into the Attraction.
Flash photography is strictly prohibited within the areas of the tour, no video or voice recording is permitted. Amateur photography without flash is allowed.
From time to time Crumlin Road Gaol or other authorised third parties may carry out photography or other recording at the Attraction and any images or recordings may feature Visitors. Visitors consent to the use of such images by Crumlin Road Gaol in connection with advertising, promotions or monitoring and acknowledge that the copyright in such images rests with Crumlin Road Gaol and/or any authorised third party.
All areas of Crumlin Road Gaol are fully accessible with exception to the tunnel area, and drop cell which is located below the Hanging Cell. Our Guides will endeavour to accommodate any wheelchair user to ensure they get the best out of the tour.
There are various seating areas throughout the Gaol which can also be seen as rest points on the tour.
Crumlin Road Gaol can be accessed via the Crumlin Road.
The Reception Area is located at the front of the Gaol; all tickets can be purchased here.
The Reception Area, Café, Gift shop and Museum are located on ground level.
Car Parking facilities are located in the front of A Wing and can be accessed via Cliftonpark Avenue.
Crumlin Road Gaol offer free coach and car parking onsite which is open from 8am to 6pm daily. The car park will be open for some larger evening events and offer 100 spaces. The car park can be accessed via the Crumlin Road, take a right into Cliftonpark Avenue and a second right at Summer Street.

Crumlin Road Gaol is wheelchair accessible in all areas with exception of the tunnel area and drop cell due to the historic nature of the Building and its protected Heritage. Crumlin Road Gaol has 2 wheelchairs onsite which can be reserved on request by contacting our ticketing office on: 02890 741500
The below facilities are designed to be accessible to guests with disabilities including:

All accessible toilets have emergency alarms and communication points which go back to a 24hr manned security room.

Crumlin Road Gaol provides a printed version of our script which is available on request. Hearing Dogs are welcome.
